Correction of endothelial dysfunction as a component in treatment for atherosclerosis obliterans of lower-limb arteries

The authors analysed the effect of various therapeutic agents on the level of biochemical markers of endothelial dysfunction. The obtained findings confirmed efficacy of the studied agents in prevention of restenosis of the zone of reconstruction due to neointimal hyperplasia, thus leading to improved results of reconstructive operations on major arteries of the lower extremities.
