LIOTON 1000(R) GEL – A NEW AGENT FOR TOPICAL THERAPY OF LOWER LIMB VARICOSE DISEASE AND ITS COMPLICATIONS

The results of clinical trial of a new topical agent LIOTON 1000 (r) gel – immobilised heparin in high concentration rapidly resorbing in soft tissue and slowly liberating from gel – are presented. LIOTON 1000 (r) gel was used in 80 patients with varicose and postphlebitic diseases for the treatment of acute thrombophlebitis of saphenous veins, trophic disturbances, including trophic ulcers, prevention of postoperative hematomas during combined phlebotomy. LIOTON 1000 (r) gel revealed to be effective and safe preparation. The results permited to advise wide implementation of LIOTON 1000 (r) gel for combined therapy of chronic vein diseases and their complications.
