Experience with endovascular occlusion of pulsatile hematomas and posttraumatic false aneurysms of arterial and branches is presented in this article, From January 1993 to December 1996 this procedure was performed in 6 patients with this pathology. We performed Seldinger superselective catheterization of arterial branches. A Gianturko spiral was used as an embolyung material. After procedure 5 patients had no clinical sings of pulsatile hematomas or false aneurysms. One patient was operated for aggravating symptoms of pulsatile he-matoma. Postoperatively, patients' stay in the Department varied from 4 to 6 days. Thus, we have concluded, that endovascular occlusion done for pulsatile hematomas or false aneurysms of the arterial branches in the lower extremities is a low traumatic method with evident advantages.
