EAVST AND RAVST
EAVST and RAVST are associations of vascular surgeons who continue to perfect their skills and knowledge in vascular surgery.
The European Association of Vascular Surgeons in Training (EAVST) was founded in 1994 in Berlin at an annual convention of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS).
At present EAVST has over 700 members from most European counties.
Its objectives include cooperation with international angiovascular organizations, collection of information about training and advanced education of European vascular surgeons, carrying out joint scientific projects and holding international conferences. EAVST also takes part in discussing vascular surgery trainings and the future of vascular surgery in Europe.
